What is Flexi-Orb?
Flexi-Orb is short for the Flexible Energy Oversight Registration Body – a trading style of Certi-fi Schemes Limited, who have been successfully running the Energy Performance Validation Scheme (EPVS) since 2016. Flexi-Orb are the first renewables installation scheme to be recognised by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to ISO 17067:2013.
Which technologies does Flexi-Orb cover?
The initial scope covers the installation of Solar PV, Electrical Energy Storage Systems (EESS), and Electric Vehicle Charge Points (EVCP). Heat Pumps will be included in the scheme in the near future.

Who will carry out Flexi-Orb assessments?
Certification Bodies that have been successfully assessed to the Flexi-Orb scheme within the scope of their ISO 17065:2012 accreditation. So far, there are two companies that have achieved this – Simply Certification and Blue Flame Certification.
