Our solutions include Easy MCS, Easy PAS Plus (formerly known as Easy Green Deal) and Installer Toolkit. Our goal is to make it simpler for businesses to make the shift towards greener, energy efficient and sustainable projects.
We are also constantly looking for new and impactful ways that we can deliver value for our customers. New services. New products. New solutions. It’s an exciting time to join the business.
We’re supporting the renewables and energy efficiency trades to thrive and we need people passionate about helping the planet to join us. Could that be you?
Your Role
We’re looking for someone to join our GreenPro team and work collaboratively to build products and tools to help installers to better serve their customers. Working across the entire Software Development Lifecycle you’ll be able to own solving problems, all the way from idea to production. The work is extremely varied, covering Front end, Backend, database and cloud technologies - but we’re not looking for someone who knows everything already, we want someone who’s willing jump in, learn new things and to develop their skills.
You’ll be maintaining a range of products, both new and old. Our Installer Toolkit is built using a modern stack using NodeJS and React. But we also maintain a wide variety of systems and the team shares responsibiltiy of this. We’re building a new platform using the modern technologies to gradually phase out these legacy technologies. We don’t expect someone to come in knowing all the technologies we use, but we’re looking for someone happy to use and learn whatever technologies they need to do to help us better serve our customers.
Quality is a big part of what we do, so ideally you’ll be confident in writing tests of various levels and the use of code quality tools to ensure we’re building maintainable code that works. We also care deeply about how our products work in production as well, including owning our own build and deployment pipelines and monitoring our products in production.
We’re a small, agile team - which owns all parts of the process, so as well as writing, testing and deploying code, you’ll also be helping to write requirements, solve problems and design architecture. There’s a big opportunity to join and help influence the direction both the team and the systems take - whilst solving real problems for our users. You’ll also be working directly with people from across the business to help discover requirements and ensure we’re building the right things to solve problems for our users
As the team grows we’re starting to put in place more agile ways of working, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape these processes and as a team will have autonomy over how you approach work. We have a culture of embracing learning and continuous improvement, and we’re excited to find other like minded individuals who want to share in delivering our mission.
